Under the spreading chestnut tree, I sold you and you sold me..

Imagine this...
The world's the negative, the image on a mirror with right switched for left and left for right.
Imagine yourself, thirsty on a hot summer day. You see a glass full of water right in front of you. You extend your arms to reach it and quell your thirst to your heart's content. But you cannot grasp the glass in your hands. Because its the image, just the negative of a positive that exist only in the existence of the negative itself.

Its an emptiness that's unfathomable and almost romantic in pain. That feeling kept lingering in my heart after I read George Orwell's 1984. A brilliant and beautiful rendition.
